It's been a while. To be honest, there will be a lack of posts (as always) because of school. February is hell month for me (and my friends) because we have a bunch of work due. But after February, I should be able to post a bit more until the end of april and all of may due to IB exams (cue dramatic music). Then finally i can enjoy my summer! As you can tell, I am counting down the days until the end of my senior year. Of course, I am going to miss being in high school where you are somewhat sheltered, but I am so ready for the summer/college.

So that's all about school. Those polaroids were taken with my new Fujifilm instax 210 camera, which I got for Christmas (I got an iPad 2 too). I had really amazing time with my friends because we literally planned our day as we went on. We went to a somewhat creepy lake and took a few pictures. Then we went to Yoforia, and this the Overlook, a place were you get an amazing view of Atlanta. It was pretty fun. One thing I learned: it is not fun walking in wedges in the woods.

Last, expect some more polaroids! Also, expect better quality photos with the help of my friend who got a pretty nice camera for Christmas.

So my life has been full of: homework, reading several 400 page documents, 4000 word essays, homework, tests, quizzes, 2000 handwritten papers, tests, and more homework. Oh, then I have to look for colleges.

So yeah, Im pretty much having the best time ever.

Anyway, last week was homecoming, so I have some fun photos coming up. I can only post them when I have some real time...

But now I have to get back to work! Yay!

1.What initially prompted you to start a fashion youtube channel?

A: I've been a long time fan of beauty videos and have been a follower of fashion blogs for years, so when I found out about the fashion youtube community I knew I wanted to join.

2.How did you get into photography as a career? What was your education like?
A: I never went to school for photography. I started shooting fashion and portraits when I was 15 years old and went from there. I went to nursing school though, but have always wanted to pursue photography.

3.Why do you particularly photograph couples and weddings?

A: It's lucrative and I get to photograph BEAUTIFUL things, moments, and people with dreamy light. What can get better than that?

4. What are you favorite places to shop in Southern California? Why?

A: Everywhere! There's a treasure in every store, even huge franchises. It's all about putting them together.

A: Eclectic, whimsical, romantic.

When I was in Mississippi, I rode a bike around the town. Before that, I think the last time I rode a bike was when I was 12. But I wanted to do it more after that experience. So when I went to Amelia Island in early August, I tried it at the resort that I was staying in. However, I managed to fall while going down a hill, and I almost fell on my face (I am so happy i was wearing a helmet). Then yesterday, I was riding a bike on a trail near my house. It was relaxing and so lovely until I got dehydrated and fainted. So yeah, maybe I should just avoid bikes from now on?

Anyway, this was taken about a week ago. This dress was my go-to summer dress. I already see fall starting to creep here in Georgia, so I want to wear it as much as I can before its too late. But then again, I love fall!

I have to do homework now. But expect interviews and a video soon!

So school has started! Actually, Im lying. It started about 3 weeks ago. Anyway, its my senior year! I remember starting this blog freshman year. I cannot believe Im getting so old. Im actually scared. But I will just try to enjoy my senior year and get into a good college for now.

Anyway, I really want to keep up with my blog this year. I always say that, but never do. So I took some intiative, and pre-filmed/shot videos and photos. So definitely expect updates more often.

Last, I wore this outfit Friday at school, and my friday was surprsingly fun. My friends and I kind of had an impromptu photoshoot in the senior court yard during lunch. Actually, my lunch has been fun all week. On Tuesday, my friend had a jug of orange juice she brought to school. Anyway, she couldn't use it for her intended reason, so she got a guy to drink the whole entire jug under 15 minutes. Let's just say, he had trouble keeping it down. It was probably one of the funniest things that happened to me this week.

I usually don't wear this much H&M. I don't know what happened today. I had a pretty lazy day today, and the rain contributed to the laziness. I actually spent most of it working on a essay at Barnes and Nobles. I was suprisingly focused, and got a lot done.

However, that is not interesting. Last week, I came back from the month long volunteer program. I have to say this was probably one of the best summers I ever had. I learned so much about myself, the world (particularly, the environment), and people. I have to say the people who lived in both Moss Point and Turkey Creek were probably the nicest I have ever encountered. The two communities I was living/working in were the definition of southern hospitality. Honestly, I can say I never experienced anything like that, and I live in Georgia. I am so happy to have experienced this. My only regret is that I wasted all those summers before this one. Sure, I volunteered, went to camps, etc. But nothing will compare to this.

I know I haven't updated this thing in a long time. But im back! Well, actually, I am leaving for a month long volunteer camp in a week and half, but I hope to take some photos/videos before I leave, so I can update while im there!

So far this is what I planned:

1. Show some of the clothes/jewelry I have recently bought

2. Show how to wear a midi skirt

3. Talk about some movies I have recently watched (ex. Ordinary People, Heavenly Creatures, Harold and Maude)

And thats about it...for now. But I should think of some more later.

Thefashioncitizen is a fashion youtube channel created by two sisters (technically, they're fraternal twins) Stephanie and Melissa from Arizona. They post videos hauls, DIYs, and tips on thrift shopping. They stand out of the thousands of fashion youtubers with their ability to frequently post videos, and their gift for finding bargains. Q: I understand that you both are students currently studying fashion, but what career do you both want to pursue in the fashion world? ‬‬
A: Melissa: I would love to get into visual display. I think I've always looked at displays as an art form and can see myself doing that. But, I would have to say my dream job would be styling. I really like dressing others, as opposed to dressing myself.
A: Stephanie: At this moment I'm torn between what I actually want to do with my life. I love styling others, and also love working in retail, being able to interact with customers and help them choose items that flatter their figure. But, I also want to become an esthetician. I want to be able to help others improve their complexion because when I had terrible skin, I felt so self conscience, and I think being able to help others feel good about themselves would just make me so happy.

Q: What initially prompted you both to start a fashion and makeup youtube channel?‬
A: Melissa: Stephanie was really the one that wanted to start the channel, whereas I was kind of hesitant. I told her if were going to buy a camera we have to make videos and really stick with it.
A: Stephanie: I think we just wanted to be able to share with others our interpretation of trending styles and also our thrift hauls. It was also a way to document our lives, we are putting out videos daily, and we can look back on our old videos and see how we've changed, and it's really fun.

Q: What places do you guys like to shop for clothes? Why?‬‬
A: Melissa: My favorite place has to be Goodwill. I love that thrill of the hunt feeling I get when shopping there. It's like a treasure hunt every time and I always find something amazing.
A: Stephanie: I'd have to say my favorite place to shop is the Salvation Army. Any thrift store is really a favorite of mine, only because you can find such unique pieces. Also because I'm a huge cheapass and I can't bare the thought of paying over a dollar for anything!

Q: What are three words that describe your sense of style?‬‬
A: Melissa: Classic, Elegant, Feminine
A: Stephanie: Comfortable, Casual, Polished

Q: If you could tell someone a quote to live by, what would it be?‬‬
A: Melissa: A quote that my dad always said was, "You're never going to take anything with you when you die." Even though he was trying to encourage us to spend money and live big, in reality it made me a cheapass and more frugal with my spending.
A: Stephanie: My dad always said, "People treat you the way that they see you." And unfortunately in the world that we live in today, it's the truth. So its kind of a quote that I live by, I always want to be treated the best so when I go out I always try to look my best. It may seem shallow, but people judge you based on the way that you look than by your character.

Q: I always enjoy the music you guys put in videos. What are you both currently listening to?‬‬
A: Melissa: Recently I've been into Tokimonsta, that's why so much of her music has been in our videos. But honestly, I listen to a broad range of music, anything from Justin Bieber to Olivia Ong.
A: Stephanie: I'm currently listening to Crystal Castles, the music that we play at work is always stuck in my head, but unfortunately I'm not sure what most of the songs are called, and I'm really enjoying a song by Pitbull, but I also don't know what that song it called.

Q: Give readers two fun facts about yourselves: ‬‬
A: Melissa: I am a big fan of the whisper community on youtube, I listen to many videos to help me fall asleep at night, I also listen to ones that help me meditate and help balance my chakras. I also sleep under a heated blanket every single nights, even when the summer nights get so hot.
A: Stephanie: I eat a large crispy chicken deluxe value meal from Wendy's everyday, I go so frequently that the workers already know to add two sides of heartland ranch to my order. I'm so out of shape that I can't even run down our block without having to stop and turn around to go back home.

Happy Earth Day! I hope you are doing your part to contribute to helping the environment. Here are 5 easy tips on how to do it:

1. Avoid buying water bottles or try reusing your water bottles.
2. Turn off your lights and electronics before you leave a room.
3 Try to unplug ALL electrical appliances before you leave your home.
4. Recycle. Seriously, its easy.
5. Shorten your shower to 5 to 7 min. I do it every day, and you can definitely get everything clean in that amount of time.

I hope you noticed that I wore earth tone colors for a reason. And you know what's awesome about this blazer and button down? It was only a dollar each. Ahhh. So freaking amazing. I found it when my grandpa wanted to stop by a thrift after driving me home from school (yeah, I'm 17 and I don't have my license).

So early during the week, photobucket was having problems with its server. Anyway, those who visited my blog, couldn't view my pictures. So I decided to make videos. Videos are so much easier than taking photos because there is very little editing, etc. As you can tell, my webcam isn't the best quality, but you can still see the outfit. Haha.

Anyway, prom is this weekend! I'm so excited because I know I will enjoy it.

So on Thursday, April 7th, I officially turned 17. I didn't do anything particularly exciting during the day. I mean I got my prom dress (honestly, I don't love it, but I look nice in it...) and my shoes. I went to Waffle House (yum!). Then, at night, I had a quickly planned dinner with friends at Rays on the River. It was perfect. Those were a few photos from the night.As you can tell, I had a lot of fun!

Hey everyone! This post will be a little different. I wanted to add a new element to my blog, so here it is! I decided to interview NiaSays from Youtube. NiaSays is a vlogger who creates fashion related videos. She is currently studying and living in London, but is originally from Hong Kong. She has an amazing sense of style, and honestly, I did this just because I just wanted to know more about her! Above is one of her videos.

1. What is your real name?
Nishita, pronounced Ni-she-ta, I hate my name, primarily because it has the word SHIT in it, but looking past that, I suppose it is unique so I have a love/hate relationship with it. My friends call me all sorts of things, and probably no one calls me by my actual name :)
2. What do you do? Are you student? If so, what are you studying?
I'm a Law student, and I hate it! =D Don't get me wrong, I'm good at it, just because I have a fantastic memory and the ability to memorise books from cover to cover, but otherwise, it's just boring. A death sentence. :)
3. Would you ever pursue a career in fashion? If so, what?
I would, I think. If someone asked me this 2 years ago, the answer would be a flat out no, but I'm warming up to the idea! Fashion buyer? A fashion journalist? Stylist? Anything!
4. What initially prompted you to start a fashion and makeup youtube channel?
Eh, I'm not sure, I've been watching YouTube for maybe 4 years now, but I never really had the confidence to put myself out there for the world to see, but ever since I've started, I've kind of kicked myself in the backside for not doing it sooner.
5. What are your favorite places to shop for both clothes and makeup? Why?
I'm not big into make up, so I guess the drugstore satisfies me. As for clothing, anywhere and everywhere, but I love market stalls and vintage stores just because item are far more unique and its less likely you'll see anyone with the same stuff. Of course, Topshop, American Apparel and Urban Outfitters are fab too!
6. What are three words that describe your sense of style?
Edgy? I don't know, I kind of do my own thing really, and I dress to suit my mood so one day I may be wearing florals, and the next I may be wearing lots of leather and skulls. Maybe diverse would be another one? :)
7. If you could tell someone a quote to live by, what would it be?
I'm not a big quote-follower. I honestly think it's a bunch of crap people like to think they live by, but they only do so when it suits them.
8. Who are you favorite fashion and makeup youtubers? Who are your favorite non-fashion youtubers?
I'm not a make up girl, so even when my favorite Youtube girls do tutorials, odds are, I won't watch them. Some of my favorite include clothesencounters, sototallyvlog, beautycrush, hrhcollection, thepersianbabe, britpopprincess... The list goes on.

movie buff

So here is what I wore today. My hair inspiration was from clothesencounters, a fashion youtube channel (you can see the video here). These girls are amazing. I think I have mentioned them before, but seriously, check them out. Youtube has been a big inspiration for me lately in the aspect of fashion. I never knew SO much was out there. I was really out of the loop. Maybe that's why I want to make videos...

Anyway, I am currently going through the list of the most controversial movies of all time. Yeah, I am weird. Anyway, I saw this movie called Kids. Honestly, I found it interesting. However, the constant sex and drug use was a little off putting. This stuff usually doesn't bother me, but for some reason it did in this movie. Maybe because all the actors are my age. This was made back in the 90s, and it stars Chloë Sevigny and Rosario Dawson. It's funny to see how young they look.

I also saw this movie called Cannibal Holocaust. This movie was particularly interesting because of it's controversy outside the film. The film is pretty much about a film crew who go into Amazon searching for another film crew that has been missing for a few months. They find the dead film crew along with cans of film. The story pretty much tells the tale of their demise. So the director, Ruggero Deodato, wanted to make a movie that was similar to a documentary (which we're use to now, but this was something new back in the 80s). He wanted the audience to believe this film crew actually died, so he had the actors/actresses sign a contract saying they couldn't do any jobs for a year. He did the same for the film crew. Everyone believed that these actors were dead, so Deodato was sent to jail and put on trial. He eventually voided the contracts of the actors and proved the violence was fake. However, the movie was banned in 53 countries!

I kind of don't like when people say "Oh, I knew that band before everyone." But then again, I do it all the time. And this is an artist that I knew about before some people. I was so sad I couldn't go to the concert she had this week in Atlanta. I was severely depressed because she is so talented. I can't think of many artist who are better live than recorded. Oh Land is amazing! So if you haven't heard of her already, here you go:

I will have a very busy weekend because I will be doing an essay, creating a chemistry lab and project, studying for a math test, and studying for a history test. Plus, I have a Model UN convention on Monday and Tuesday, so I have to prepare for that. Then I start habitat builds next weekend, so I have to plan for that. I should be freaking out, but I refuse to. As long as I use my time wisely, I should be fine.

I really needed to post because I have been neglecting my blog. So here you go. To be honest, I couldn't where this outfit to school due to the shortness of the romper. But i can wear it out.

rings and things

So this the jewelry I have recently bought or jewelry I just have been recently wearing. The purple stone ring is actually my favorite purchase. I technically found it at a consignment shop, but its actually from Urban Outfitters (seen here). I only paid 15 bucks for it, and it was also special because it was a perfect fit.
Anyway, I have the whole week off because of our new calendar, but I have done absolutely nothing this week but watch movies. This includes Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, and Memento. All very interesting movies, and all available on youtube/megavideo. Being John Malkovich was especially weird because it felt like one of my dreams. I don't know. It feels weird typing that, but it truly felt like a dream, and not a movie. Maybe that's a good thing...

Decisions...

It's a Friday night, and I have nothing to do. Well, I have homework and ACT/SAT practice, but who really wants to do that? I might get started on it after this post, or maybe not. Anyway, I have kind of a big decision to make. Big is really a relative term, right? This isn't like a life or death decision. Pretty much, I need to decided if I want to play soccer this season. Since I haven't worked out at all during the past few weeks, my decision is pretty much made for me. I could make a strong effort to brush up my skills and run this weekend, but I don't know if I want to make that commitment to something I am not passionate about. My alternative to this situation is the be a manager, which allows me to go to games/practices without being so tired that I just avoid my homework. Also, I will still be able to be (somewhat) part of the team. It seems like I already made my decision. And the truth is, I have. However, I don't like living with too many regrets, and it just makes me wonder if this will be one...

On a side note, I cannot wait for Skins next week. At first, I wasn't too excited about the new cast. As the days get closer to the season premire, I am feeling different. I think the cast looks pretty interesting, and as long as there is not a repeat of the drama that happened last season...

Sequins and Snow Days

My snow day turned into a snow week, but it's okay. I had a relaxing week. Although, by the end I started to get cabin fever. The snow in my driveway has cleared up, and so have the streets. Tomorrow morning I am going to go to the theater and see The Green Hornet, and do some other things to celebrate my freedom from my house.

This is unrelated, but I found this quote by Andy Warhol the other day. I thought it was pretty insightful.

"People sometimes say that the way things happen in the movies is unreal, but actually, it's the way things happen to you in life that's unreal. The movies make emotions look strong and real, whereas when things really do happen to you, it's like you're watching television-- you don't feel anything."

Snow Day.

Today was a snow day. I really wasn't expecting it all day on Sunday. When I heard that school was cancelled, I was excited. When I finally took a break from watching movies and peeked outside, it was amazing. We haven't had snow here like this in a while. Since I couldn't jump outside and play in the snow at three in the morning, I started watching Hitch with my mom.

Since this really isn't driving weather, most of my time was spent watching movies like Friday the 13th: Part Two, Taxi Driver, and another movie called Frozen. Friday the 13th was pretty good as a time killer. Everyone knows the story about the teenagers at a camp who are murdered by Jason (but in the first movie it was his mother). Taxi Driver was very interesting and just crazy. Its about an ex-marine who takes a job as a taxi driver. The audience can tell from the beginning of the movie that Travis is different. As the movie progresses, so does his violent thoughts. Frozen was also great. It was about three friends who spend a Sunday afternoon at a ski resort. When they stuck up on the ski lift, they have to survive until Friday when the resort opens or find a way out before they freeze to death. You will cringe during some scenes. The biggest fault in this movie was the actors...and the script.

So all in all, I had a decent snow day. And I will have to do the same tomorrow because I have school off again. Last, the photos are not that great, but I have a new Nikon coolpix. I should be using it soon (it was a christmas gift).

So i know i haven't been posting at all. I kind of have been grounded for failing at life. Therefore, I have had limited time with technology. However, recently I have acquired a computer (notice I did not say my computer). These photos were taken about three weeks ago before finals. New York has just been amazing. I love visiting the Empire State Building, the Met, the Moma, and the Museum of Natural History. Black Friday shopping was amazing. More importantly, Thanksgiving with the Haitian side of my family was pretty awesome.

Unfortunately, my camera hasn't been working well, so I had to use a family members. Therefore, I will not be able to show my photos for a week or so. But for now, I will show you an image i found on google images.

I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving! I know I promised a post, but obviously I have been enjoying my break. I wore this outfit on Friday. People said I looked like a mime, and I have to agree. The beret, the striped shirt, and the black just screams mime. I didn't realize it, and it was really funny (to me at least). Also, the ring is from Forever21, and its my official first online purchase. By that, I mean on my own without my mom ordering stuff too or a purchase that doesnt include a book or cd. I got a ring because i have fat fingers, and can never find a nice sized ring.

Last, I cannot believe I got Best Dressed Reader of the Day on Friday. It still amazes me. I am so happy, but woah... I guess I thought I would give it another try (i sent one before), but i didnt really expect that I would.

I found out that I am going to New York for Thanksgiving, which should be fun! Also, my trip to England has been moved to February (instead of December). I was really disappointed, but my mom did have a point about being able to do more things since it wont be SO expensive during that time. This just means more shopping for me, so I am happy.

So technically I am sill grounded and shouldn't be on this computer, but since I haven't posted in so long I feel obligated to take this risk. Anyway, for the past two weeks (and the rest of my summer), I have been grounded. The reason for this horrible punishment is due to the fact that I decided to get in the car (more than once) with a friend who just got his license. My mom was pissed when she found out hence the reason to my absence from the internet and my social life. Anyway, here is fashion post as a sort of apology for this. I kind of look angry in this photo, but i was definitely rushing this.

So despite being grounded, my sixteenth birthday party is in two weeks! I have so much sewing to do since I am doing a fashion show, and the theme is going to be Breakfast at Tiffany's so there is a lot to do for that too. I am so scared because I feel like everything might no work out. I havent even decided on models. But here is a preview for what is in store.

So last Friday I went to the American Apparel Flea Market in Atlantic Station. Despite the heat of summer and long lines, I had a great time spending the day with my friend, Angela. After finding a printed tshirt and a black jean skirt, we walked around Atlantic Station. At H&M, I bought a oversized tshirt and pink (almost salmon colored) shirt. I also found some oxfords, but unfortunately, they were too big. I was so angry about that. However, I know I can find some better ones. Anyway, here are some photos from my day out.

I thought this summer would be different, but it isn't. I wanted to spend everyday doing something exciting, something interesting, or something productive. Although I have been fairly productive, I cannot admit that my first two weeks of summer have been extremely fun. I have been to a few parties, and volunteering at my local hospital has also been fun (which kind of surprised me). Well, at least I can enjoy beautiful music like the cover of George Gershwin's Summertime by Janis Joplin.

The XX Concert!

I went to The XX when they came to Atlanta on March 24th. The whole day was amazing, more so because i spent this day with some lovely people (that's you, Angela and Lisa). We spent the evening in Little Five Points (an amazing area with cool thrift shops and cool people). First, we had some delicious pizza at Little Five Points Pizza. I definitely recommend trying their veggie pizza anytime you are in that area. It's too good not to try! Unfortunately, i did not take any photos of this pizza, so just take my word.
Then after we walked around only to find that all the shops close around 8pm. I was severely disappointed when i could not visit Rag-O-Rama. But there's always another time. After that, we had some deserts at this little dessert place near The Variety Playhouse.

After we went inside and began to wait for the band. Opening acts included Nosaj Thing. He is an amazing DJ. Here is one of his music videos.

Finally, The XX came! They sound great live. In fact, they sound the same live as they do on their albums. The night was simply magical, and here are a few photos from their performances and of my friends and me.

I have been very busy for the past couple of weeks. During the week before last, I was only focused on studying and finals. That Saturday i went to a very fun sweet sixteen. I also had to plan an event for Habitat for Humanity. Then last week, I was helping a friend move out of their house. After that, I went to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for four days. I just got back yesterday, but last night, I went to a party. So pretty much, I haven't had time to post. However, I am going to make up for it today. I will be posting two outfits, and photos from the sweet sixteen!

This is an old photo, and actually wore this on the last day of my semester. However, that day it rained, so I really shouldn't have worn heels.

Well, I was supposed to do some great thrift store raiding with my good friend Deanna... but of course, my mother had to be a bit of a you-know-what and say "NO" and make me stay at home. Sigh.

So, seeing as that she hates it when I search through her closet, I decided to have a random photo shoot incorporating something something good I might have found in there; and luckily, I stumbled upon these amazing menswear-ish shorts that begged to be worn with high heels and shiny jewelry. An extra plus: absolutely no cost to steal them from her and fancy them up for some interesting evening wear.

Anyways, does anybody know if there are any kind of Black Friday sales on either a Nikon d3000 or d5000? I'm really, really tired of my point-and-shoot. Perhaps I shouldn't even hope for it, but still, it would be great to fulfill my Christmas wishes early.

Hello Everyone.
Today I had an early release from school. Therefore, It is possible for me to give a detailed post, which will dive deep into my feelings and life (or at least touch the surface). Currently, I am sitting at my computer while my television plays the movie 'Chicago' in the background. Although, my day did not go as planned, I am happy to post this for all those who actually decide to read this.

First, I want to give a great apology for my ability to prevaricate. I begin with a great idea, but at times my ideas do not go as planned. I am constantly trying to come up with new ideas to create a blog that is not only appealing to others, but also a blog that I feel is up to par. Although, these promises usually cannot be accomplished due to the fact that I have school. School requires a lot of time, and the time that I do have must be devoted to school. School is important to me and my mother. That is why blogging will have to 'take the back seat' at times. Although, I feel that is reasonable. Do you now understand why my posts are few and far between?

Now that I have apologized, I am going to write about something that puts me in a lighter mood. That just happens to be the collaboration channel. I never gave the blogs of the other girls who are apart of the project, so that is what I will do now. They are: Rachel, Talon, Kelsea, and Kinsey (I think she has officially agreed to be apart of the project. I feel that all of the ladies have a wonderful sense of fashion and wonderful personalities.

Anyways, an update of my life - homecoming is approaching quickly (or so it seems) and lately I’ve been trying to find a dress that meets my expectations for being fabulous/stylish/awesome and my mother’s expectations for being… “age appropriate.” Unfortunately, Topshop is too far away, Forever 21 refuses to use more than one square foot of fabric per dress, and Google searches bring up cliché poofy dresses. I feel hopeless. Any recommendations?

What a week! For the first half of the week, I was very sick. In class on Tuesday, I had a slight episode where I threw up in class. What was even more embarrassing is that a hit my head on a shelf near the trash while throwing up. I do not remember this because I blacked out. Scary, huh? But this picture was taken before this incident, hence the name "she was all smiles." I feel so much better, but my weekend will definitely not be as exciting as last weekend. Hopefully, Angela will post soon. And we are trying to find some time when we can make a video. Sorry for talking about something, then not completing the task. I am going back to school August 10th, so school is on my mind. Here is an outfit that I think I am going to wear when it's time to wear tights.

Here is what I wore to orientation. I felt I should wear something comfortable.

My weekend is going to packed. On Friday, I am going to the movies with a few friends. I will be viewing GI Joe. I personally do not think it will be the best super hero type movie. However, my friends want to see it, so I will. If I could, I would want to see 500 Days of Summer. If you saw it, what did you think of it? My friend Lisa thought it was wonderful.

On Friday night, I will be sleeping over a friends house. On Saturday, I have to finish school shopping. On Saturday night, I am going to pool party, and I will hopefully will meet some new friends. Last, on Sunday, I have to get my bangs cut. Wooo! Finally, I will get to have a change with my hair.

School Shopping (I know, It's early)

I know this is early, but to be honest I love Autumn. I cannot wait for it. I love everything from seeing my friends everyday to the new subjects I will get to learn. However, I especially favor Fall fashion. Here is the ideas I have for what I will wear (I will actually be buying some soon):

Next week I am going to camp. I had no clue what to wear. After posting a thread on the Teen Vogue forums, I had some thoughts on what I want to wear thanks to the users. Couture_aotearoa_NF even made me a polyvore. So today I went shopping today and I bought some cool converses (or forms of converses), these nice little blue sneaker-like flats, and some silver gladiators. I would have shown you a picture of these lovely items, but yesterday I had to reboot my computer. I do not have my camera software, microsoft windows progams (like word, movie maker, or powerpoint), itunes, or anything! Therefore, you may have to wait a day or two.

At this moment I am watching the 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead. I am absolutely infatuated with Zombie movies. Did you know that? I love them! I know this sounds weird, but I would love to be in a Zombie Apocalypse. Gawd. I sound like a weirdo/freak, and I have strayed from my original topic, which is the outfit. You might not see the lace-ish detail on the shirt, so here is a clearer photo:

Skins (One of My Favorite Shows)

I love Skins. Ever since I saw an episode of Skins, I liked it. I loved all the characters from the first two seasons, which includes Tony, Michelle, Chris, Sid, Cassie, Jal, Effy, Anwar, and Maxxie. I was skeptical when i heard the creators where scratching the old cast. However, I wasn't disappointed with the third season, which includes Effy, Cook, JJ, Freddie, Thomas, Pandora, Emily, Katie, and Naomi. It was pretty nice. The third season was a combination of the crazy partying and constant jokes of the first season and the seriousness of the second season. It didn't hurt that Luke Pasqualino (the actor who plays Freddie) is absolutely gorgeous! I cannot wait for season four, but I will truly be disappointed when the series ends. Great Gatsby Party: Flapper Dress

I had to make a flapper dress for a Great Gatsby party. It ended up taking longer than what i had expected, but i finished it.I decided to wear a H&M blazer over it because i wanted to wear it all day during the school day. However, I decided to wear another really cute outfit with the same blazer. You can't see it, but i put fringe on the straps too.

My neighbors must think I am weird...

I say that because I jumping around, and acting weird. I hope they didn't see me. Okay, so it has been a while since I posted anything. Whoa. I think I will start with my Spring Break. The Cruise was very exciting experience. I went to Belize, Costa Maya, Cozumel, and the Bahamas. Each excursion was different, and I learned something new. I was surprised about how small the cabins were. They are so tiny! However, they are only used for bathing and sleeping, so it was fine. For most of the time on the cruise, I was quiet and shy. However, by the end, I had an epiphany. I realized that I would never ever see these people again. That is when I began to open up (a bit too much in my mother's opinion). But still, I had a fun time. Also, my birthday was during the cruise. It was not the best birthday, but at least I got to spend my birthday on a cruise. Now I am 15 years old. I can now wear makeup. Wooo! I should be posting a picture of myself with and without makeup. I do not see the difference, so I won't be wearing makeup too often. I also will be posting some pictures of my trip. And I also will be posting it soon. It has been too long since my last post. I kind of forgot what else I needed to say, so bye.

A Day at the Park.

I went to the park with my friends last Thursday. It was very fun. While trying to jump off something, I fell (like an idiot). My friend, Lisa, took these beautiful pictures. I don't like the way I look in certain pictures, but i must admit that these are too pretty to criticize. Thanks Lisa!

During my Spring Break, I am going on a cruise (Yay)! I am so excited because this is my first cruise ever. This is also my first time outside the U.S. I went shopping because I really needed some light, summery clothes. I (or my mom to be exact) bought some nice pieces from H&M and Forever 21. I really need some accesories though! Therefore, there is more shopping to do. Ha ha. I will post some new outfits soon, and hopefully one of my own creations.
